New York City based female vocal trio The Shells were voted as one of top 3 finalists in the MTV Video Music Awards ’09 Best Breakout Artist NYC competition. Voted by MTV as one of the top 3 out of almost 200 entrants, The Shells will duke it out with two other bands at The Fillmore in NYC on September 11, 2009.
After a successful launch of their debut full-length album Sounds of Machines last April in the US, Brooklyn electronic/rock band Zigmat kicks off their debut tour in Brazil this Fall. The tour includes seven venues in four Brazilian cities from October 8 – 17, 2009.

Cello Rockers Cause a “Break of Reality" with Classical Music
