I'm 21, and for several years now I've been trying to to make myself feel how I want and when I want. Well, so far I'm failing and I want to kill myself. I also smoke weed.
Any suggestions on how to kill myself?

I wonder how many of us are like Jason Silva and have these moments but we don't have the camera crew to record us and capture those flow state moments we can share later… I have this happen all the time but I don't record it…

+Shots of AweI do get into these flow states naturally but it's real hard to put forward my feelings in any form of documentation. I am not a good speaker and am often not able to discribe what I feel. I want to write down my feelings but I am not able to do so in my flow state or it gets disrupted. Once it ends and I try to write my experiences but often very less is documented and that too very inefficiently.

People saying this guy isn't a Philosopher, enligthen me what it takes to be a "Philosopher"?Philosophy is simply to ponder on what it is to be and what things are and aren't.There's a common thought that someone should carry a certain academic certificate related to Philosophy,or go to schools of Philosophy inorder to identify them as Philosophers. When in reality all it takes is to entertain our thoughts and wonders to be one.

We are all Philosophers to some degree or other, some follows the Plato, or the Aristotle lines of Philosophy, and then some follow the Thomas Aquina's, which is based off of Aristotle. Philosophy in some cases is like a self-dialogue, and yes, it can spring from ideas, even from Divine Sources….inspirations, if you will.

Curiosity is a duty not a choice, all of us we have a responsibility toward our life. This responsibility is to go in the way of curiosity, may you ask what is curiosity? It's our wonder to understand life, our attempt to accomplish our will to live. Curiosity is the essence of creation, it comes from wondering and we transform it by creation to a reality.

Getting in the flowstate? Thats rather easy…
Understand that the World is not deterministic but probabilistic…
and use inductive reasoning instead of deductive one. done.
I am constantly in the flow state.

No matter what you people think, this man has a very interesting mind flow. I admire his capability of putting his thoughts to words, regardless if i find his idea agreeable or not. Still, a brilliant, mindful man. AND, by far, he is one of the very few that actually makes the social media makes sense. 🙂

What? Personal ramblings with the word 'philosophy' thrown in doth not philosophy make. This is mind-game-meandering-madness. And it is self-indulgent twaddle (flow, channelling, stream of consciousness…. give us a break) about 'transcendence'. Please. Read some books. This guy has been tainted by new age/ buddhist type stupidity.

I wonder what kind of "education", or even knowledge about yourself to reach that freestyle riff, real-time flow he mentioned, and have it make sense.
I feel like if I just start talking, it will sound good at first, but then start sounding like a baby.

This resonated with me on such deepth, i allways feel the best and centered when doing something new, something i never done. Wich also gives me a feelign of not beeing able to find my meaning, my Ring to carry as frodo did. i allways falls short when in repetition. aha mode!

Appreciate Video! Apologies for the intrusion, I would love your thoughts. Have you ever tried – Marnaavid Unexplainable Intervention (probably on Google)? It is a good one of a kind product for learning how to hack your flow state without the headache. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my cousin at last got amazing success with it.

I was a philosopher major and I assure you none of my professors and thought leaders would take this guy serious. Playing science fiction music, and having digital and scientific sounding things like e=mc2 in the background and quoting other poets or philosophers doesn’t make you a modern day philosophy. Pick up some books by real philosophers like Sam harris or Dawkins or Hawking and educate yourself Silva. Stringing together at a rapid patter scientific and philosophy sounding terms sprinkled with new age garbage doesn’t make you an expert. On your plus side I’m sure you make an impact in the life of the selfie taking, bunny ear snap chat bimbos online and they repost your regurgitation so everyone can comment on their facebook

I do the same thing! Just not with the same production value you do it in (I use a mic, audio ends up unusable in the end anyway lolz). Its great to know that I'm not the only one who does it and seeing someone do it more profoundly will encourage me to do it more and to do it better!
Jason Silva, your officially my role model, seeing this video puts you more so in my foresight in how I wish to work. We may never met, but our journey will unite.

I find flow when I write often. going to need to start keeping a camera around.
I find a lot of parallels between my poetry and your shots of awe.
this is not a poem but a flow piece your videos inspired.

Existential angst and the illusion of time or the lack there of occupy as much as fifty percent of my skull most if the time and up to ninety percent some of the time sometimes I'm more than ninety percent insane and I'm always at least fifty percent out of my mind but I don't mind too much because the desire to feel to think to be to create to love burns hot and bright in me this fire will likely burn me out burn me down one day but its better to burn out than fade away and I'd rather be eaten alive by a pack of wild dogs than slip quietly into peace peacefully in my sleep I've left pieces of my heart all over the world in many different hands and I still have more heart than most and I'll keep giving pieces of it away till the day I die because it will never die never expire never stop loving giving doing being loving giving loving giving what is more important than the feeling of love we leave behind in other peoples hearts what is more important than the love we plant in other peoples hearts what is more important than the love that we are responsible for other people leaving behind in other peoples hearts

    love your videos!
I can only hope to one day touch as many people with my work as you do with yours.
you and Neil now are added to my list for the worlds best poker game.
