Long Nail Care Routine ๐Ÿ˜ for Inspo on your Nail Growth Journey ๐Ÿ’–

Long Nail Care Routine ๐Ÿ˜ for Inspo on your Nail Growth Journey ๐Ÿ’–

she likes what she likes and she could
put it all on you if you about that line because you don’t got time to choose him
hey tribe its kiya from heritage 93 and in this one we’re going back down memory
lane for the nail care series back to a simple nail care routine with long
square nails and a few nail care newbies I haven’t mentioned just yet let’s get
started first I like to simply wash my hands thoroughly like normal and work
the soap on my nail plate as well then I use a spin brush to work in the suds for
a deep first cleaning on the face sides and underneath my nails once dried this
is what we get now because oil and water do not mix I’m drenching my dried nails
and the undersides in one of my tester oil blends chopper style and then
thoroughly working that in and letting it soak into the clean nails before
cutting through the oils by washing my hands once more now just because the girls are clean
doesn’t mean they’re done it’s your team I picked up another nail care goodie
that I saw on Amazon a shiny buffing block that uses multiple sides to shine
up your natural nails and after following the directions the girls are
gleaming naturally and super smooth – the difference is so clear despite there
being absolutely no clear coat on my nails I really like this technique and
the polish free look the only thing is that the shining is harder to do down
towards the cuticle which is why it’s kind of dull down there okay um so I
know that the buffing and anti buffing debate is a neck-and-neck thing here for
the tribe but I’m still wondering if you guys want to see a deeper breakdown on
how to buff your natural nails to be super shiny of course if you guys want
to see the video let me know in the comments now just because the girls are
clean and shiny doesn’t mean that their problems are all fixed so for this one
nail crack I’m using some serious brush on nail glue applying a little to the
crack and then while still wet applying a silk wrap over my entire nail it only
seems like overkill for such a small crack but girl I highly suggest it I’m
telling you I got stories now once the silk wrap is on glue it all
the way down this serves icy or semi-permanent layer of protection to
stop that crack dead in its tracks from splitting any more you can think of a
silk wrap as a nail cast now that that’s dry I’ll put some clearcoat on the girls
then this is critical I come back and buff the glute silk wrap smooth before
putting a strengthening coat overtop which I actually brush onto all of my
nails then after that I’m putting a topcoat
over top of that coat you literally can’t go wrong just make sure your nails
are thoroughly dry between layers and there you are you’re all done so I
realize I think about natural nail care an awful lot and there’s so much to
share about natural nail care so I went ahead and made a whole new Twitter so if
you ever have a question along your nail care journey feel free to tweet me and
let’s talk about it so yes I hope you girls enjoyed this super quick extended
long nail care routine and found this one helpful as always thank you guys so
much for watching and engaging take care and happy nail growing I will see you
soon in the next one

I had questions about the silk wrap when you did the last video. I GREATLY APPRECIATE you touching on it. I usually cut a small piece and put on the break but that's not working for me I'll try this way the next time.

Question: When changing your polish so you change the silk wrap every time?? I change my polish at least twice a week and that'll be alot to do for me if so…

Hey can you do a vid on using silk wraps? I try to grow my nails out often and deal with rips and never heard of silk wraps until now. Would be awesome to get a little more info on how you use them!

I own one of these shine buffing blocks and the results are amazing at first! But as your nails keep growing you will notice a difference in your nail plate's height. It doesn't really seem like it but these blocks take a lot of your nail plate down which then causes them to be super thin๐Ÿ˜ญ just trying to warn you a lil

This came at just the right time!! Ooh, how I'm wavering on my natural nail journey!! I've actually bought an extension kit, because I'm so fed up of the stumps. I'm going through the worst part of removing my overlays almost a year ago. Thank you for posting this, Kia, i just needed it today. Btw, thank you for the birthday email! I was very touched xxx

Girl you just saved my life with the silk wraps. Before I heard about it I had und a lfeack and used a dryer sheet. It didn't workout the way it as supposed to and my nail broe any way. I'm getting discouraged because nails keep reading at different times. I want squared off nails or the new coven nail trend. Tried coven nals on one hand and went too far ended up with stilettos. I'm afraid to even touch the other hand because I've had 2 recent breaks. It took me a year to get my nails to be wear people asked if they were real and now both hands half on each are in regrowth mode. Just bummed out because I finally had something beautiful that was mine now it's busted hopefully all goes well an they all grow back.

So unsanitary!! No matter how much you wash them, Animals have talons to kill and catch prey, also you need to check your iron level also because they are yellow, and it's tacky to have two hands not at equal lengths, symmetry is beauty ๐Ÿ˜

    Wait, what???

They look nice, but when I allow my nails to grow that length of the longer hand they begin to ache..so shorter length is best for me.

what nail strengthener do you use? :3 I use Forta by Nail Factory. So far it's the BEST one I've used yet, but I'm always looking for backups in case it ever * god forbid * gets discontinued

Why do you buff them shiny if you are putting polish/top coat on anyways? Wonโ€™t the nail polish stick better to the nail and not chip as fast if it has a better grip on the nails? ๐Ÿค”

How often do you do this routine btw? ๐ŸŒธ

OMG I love using my old school linen/silk wraps for strength, repairs, and reinforcement๐Ÿ’…. This is ALWAYS so encouraging after I crack or break a nail and aesthetically stunning to remind me that it'll be back long before I know it!! Thanks Ki๐Ÿ˜

You must be right handed? I only ask because my right and left hand looks just like yours. My right hand is the dominant hand so itโ€™s harder for me to avoid bumping them or hitting them so they just break off

Are you a nail tech? Because most people wouldn't think of using a nail wrap to strength their nails. Glad you go the extra mile to ensure your nails are healthy and strong. You're doing it right ๐Ÿ™‚
