[Music] [Music] Tiffany diamonds are treasured from the moment they are unearthed once a rough diamond is deemed worthy of Tiffany it is delivered to our studio in Antwerp each stone is transformed from rough gem to refined beauty by highly skilled artisans Tiffany rejects 99.9 6 percent of the world’s gem grade diamonds the Magnificent stones that are selected must be sorted for size color clarity and fluorescence but before a diamond can be polished Tiffany uses sophisticated laser technology to apply its proprietary technique then it travels to an expert polisher at one of our state-of-the-art workshops Mauritius the beautiful island nation in the Indian Ocean is home to one such workshop once the diamond arrives the Tiffany polisher uses a special wheel to polish the diamonds 57 facets here and all over the world we hire local artisans and invest in our workers and the communities in which we operate back in New York each diamond is carefully inspected to ensure it meets Tiffany’s rigorous standards finally the last leg of a remarkable journey the diamond is placed into a uniquely handcrafted setting that honors the singular beauty of the stone and it’s incredible journey after year in the careful and talented hands of our experts a Tiffany diamond in all its blazing brilliance and extraordinary beauty is ready for its blue box you

    And where so they come from? Can I be 100% sure that these diamonds are no blood diamonds? And what are the conditions in the mines for the workers and the environment?

    Nice video but it doesnt say where the diamonds come from or how they were mined. How will the world know if thse are "blood diamonds " if Tiffany does not extend its tracability to the mines?
