Tour ancient Petra Jordan ruins (things to do) travel video guide; tourism attractions

Welcome back to Traveling with
Krushworth. On this episode, I visit Petra, which Is one of the world’s UNESCO heritage sites. It is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Ever since I was very small and I saw Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, I’ve wanted to
come to Petra. It’s just that site of Jones galloping
through the Siq That has captured my imagination for
more than a decade To see the Treasury for the first time was
nothing short of incredible. The ancient Rose Coloured City of
Petra was established Some 2,000 years ago by the Nabataeans. While it’s become famous for the Treasury, many Of its wonders remain after visitors pass
by that historic facade. The Roman road, ancient royal tombs carved into The mountainside. It’s easy to
see how Petra Was the jewel of Arabia for many cultures over The centuries. One site that I’ll never
forget is the incredible Al-Deir Monastery hidden on Petra’s highest point All of these are treasures that Petra unveils
one chapter at a time. So I just climbed to the top of a sand dune
in Wadi Rum. It was a long climb up, but I’m here at The top and just look at the view behind me,
it’s spectacular. But c’mon, I’m on my way down,
so follow me.
