Warburton Redwood Forest, Victoria, Australia – A Day Trip From Melbourne

Warburton Redwood Forest So this time we’re going to attempt to
get out to Mount Donna Buang, which is near Warburton, about an hour and a half
from Melbourne. We’re going to visit a Sequoia forest, a redwood forest,
California Redwoods. And apparently we’ve got two, two, California redwood forests
within about three hours of Melbourne. They’re the only ones in Australia. The
three-hour one’s a little bit too far away for a afternoon trip so we’re going to go to the closer one We’ve just stopped for a pee break Mummy really needed to go Mummy might be doing a wee already guys Her is having a pee break She’s having a pee break is she? She’s weeing And her is maybe might be also doing a poo A P O O. A P O O Look at all those… It’s a cooler bag What’s the cooler bag for? Because we’re going to the snow and there is food inside Do you want to see the poo… food The poo Apple and used to be pear in it but I ate it This is Brandon’s sandwich
and he ate bear but he didn’t even eat any of it Why didn’t you eat your sandwich Brandy? Cos it smells like poo A pretty busy road on the way to Warburton And there’s lots of traffic but there’s a donut van Hot jam donuts on the side of the road that we’ve stopped for so I’m gonna get half a dozen donuts Gee it’s a busy little road though Considering we’re way out in the sticks now This one of those hot jam donuts I think so far it’s been well worth the stop I think Georgie and Brandy have already eaten a couple So here is the last one and I’m going to have it *disgusting eating noises* Mmmm Sugar And they eating all the sugar off it so much sugar What about you Brandy are you having donuts too? I just stick my finger in it Just a quick stop before we get to the
redwood forest And there’s some horses in a paddock with some clouds and mountains and stuff like that So we thought we’d stop and take a couple photos and they have come over to say hello to Michelle We’re still yet to get to the redwood
forest which is behind me on the left but up behind me on the right you can
see the hills that are starting get covered with clouds, the temperatures
dropping You never know it might snow This is the Sequoia forest, the redwood
forest in the Australian bush A little piece of California right here. It’s really cool.
Dark mysterious Reminds of Blair Witch *bad acting* *screaming demon chld* *scary growling zombie child* Walking through the Sequoia forest on a
muddy track so I’m looking down, might slip over Yeah we heading down to the mighty Yarra River That’s the same river that goes through Melbourne That muddy yucky thing that goes through the center of Melbourne is um… starts up here in the Dandenong Ranges or whatever ranges we’re in and trickles down to the Port… Port Phillip Bay Yeah… whoah… muddy Brandy just said that this place is a little bit Lego Jurassic Park with all the ferns and stuff yeah we expect a dinosaur to come running out of the bushes at any moment *screaming child dinosaur* So that was the Sequoia forest it’s the
redwood forest out here at Warburton which is near Mount Donna Buang, yeah so we might come again when there’s better light But that was a good little visit for the first time. We might go and see if there’s snow up Mount Donna Buang right now Here we are we’ve made it to the top of
Mount Donna Buang and as you can see probably tell it’s a bit dark, a bit cold, a bit foggy and brandy just fell over I have to go deal with that We’re just going to go home now See you next time. Peace out And smash the subscribe button and like comment and subscribe www.shaneonthego.net
